This policy explains what personal data Divorce Desk collects and why. The data controller is Great Offers Limited (company number 10866807), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Contact: hello@divorcedesk.co.uk.
Your finances stay with you
Our workbooks are files you download and fill in yourself, in Excel on your computer or in your own Google account if you use Google Sheets. We never receive the figures you type into them.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address and billing details, processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number. We use this to deliver your download, send your receipt and handle any refund (contract, and legal obligations for our tax records).
- When you sign up for emails, for example from the deadline calculator: your email address, and the dates you entered if you ask us to email them. We use this to send what you asked for and a short series of emails about the forms (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
- If you email us: your message and email address, to reply (legitimate interests).
- Advertising cookie: only if you agree. See our cookie policy.
The deadline calculator runs in your browser. The dates you enter aren't sent to us unless you ask us to email them to you.
Who we share it with
Our service providers only: Stripe (payments), MailerLite (emails), Cloudflare (website hosting) and, if you agree to the cookie, Meta. We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
Purchase records: 6 years, for tax. Email list: until you unsubscribe. Messages: up to 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete or stop using it, by emailing hello@divorcedesk.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
