About Divorce Desk
Divorce Desk makes organising tools for the paperwork in divorce and dissolution finances in England and Wales: Form E, the D81 statement of information and the steps around them.
Who we are
I'm a UK business owner, and I've spent around twenty years running operations, where getting paperwork right and on time is the job.
Divorce Desk started from a simple gap. The free guides explain Form E and the D81 well, and I link to them everywhere. But nobody does the admin for you: adding up the totals, working out the deadlines, tracking twelve months of statements, writing the letters and checking nothing is missing. That's what the workbooks do.
I'm not a solicitor, and nothing here is legal advice. What I can promise is care about accuracy, and the section below is how I check.

What we do, and what we don't
Our workbooks and guides organise your own information and follow the official forms. We don't give legal or financial advice. We never tell you what to disclose, what to agree, whether a settlement is fair, or what the court will decide. No solicitor signs off our work: accuracy comes from checking every rule against its official source.
How we check our work
- We mirror the official source. Every workbook is built from the current version of the form (Form E 01.23, D81 04.25) and uses its own numbers and headings.
- We cite every rule. Each deadline, fee and requirement links to its primary source: the Family Procedure Rules, legislation.gov.uk or GOV.UK, with the date we checked it.
- A separate check before anything goes live. Every factual statement is checked against its source by a second checker who didn't write it, and nothing is published while a check is open. Worked examples are recalculated from scratch.
- We test the workbooks with messy inputs: text typed into number cells, missing dates, joint accounts with no share, weekend deadlines. The checks have to catch them.
- We re-check every quarter, and sooner when a form or fee changes. See what we checked and when.

What we'll never do
- See your figures: the workbooks stay with you.
- Sell or share your email address.
- Put "divorce" on your card statement, email subject lines or file names: your statement shows DESK WORKBOOKS.
- Invent reviews. When buyers tell us what they think, we'll publish it with their permission.
